Many of us find ourselves burned out due to mental fatigue and trying to figure out the infamous question, “What’s my purpose?” We welcome the distraction of helping others reach their goals and happily ignore the nagging voice in our heads to do the thing. Expending our energy on others becomes a constant. So much so, we are spent and continuously talk ourselves out of doing the scary things our heart truly desires. Yadira is a Director of Strategy and DEI, well versed in the areas of branding and strategic communications, having led strategies for almost 20 years for clients such as: AARP, The Lincoln Motor Company, Dunkin’ Donuts, Walgreens, SCJohnson, Verizon & Buick. Winning awards and recognition for her work, most recently having won an Effie Award for having developed strategies for AARP’s Multicultural Response to COVID-19, she has provided expert analysis and consultation for various national and global brands.

She is passionate about building meaningful relationships between brands and people and has extensive expertise reaching the US Hispanic and Urban markets. A native of the Dominican Republic, Yadira resides in Miramar while doing the work she is most proud of - raising her three children: Josiah, Joshua and Eden, alongside her husband Elvin.

So often, how we feel on the inside, does not necessarily reflect how we look on the outside. We smile while fighting depression, we love others but struggle to love ourselves, and we put on a mask to mask our internal issues.

Even when it seems like life is perfect on the outside, it’s extremely common for most to struggle on the inside. Gurpreet Kaur suffered with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation for 15 years. It wasn’t until the week she decided to end her life, that her world changed and she was introduced to the power of God and gratitude.

Today, Gurpreet is a Spiritual Life Coach on a mission to help you understand the power of your mind and how to use it to connect to the Universe so you can raise consciousness and start to live the life you were made for.
